Common Questions About VBS

  • How much does VBS cost?

Nothing. VBS at St. Peter’s is completely free for every child. Camp Omega provides the counselors and all program materials at no cost to families.

  • Do my kids have to be members of St. Peter’s?

Not at all. VBS is open to every child in the area, whether your family attends St. Peter’s or not. Kids from Gibbon, Winthrop, Fairfax, Gaylord, and surrounding communities are all welcome.

  • What will my kids actually do all day?

Camp Omega sends trained counselors who lead a full day of Bible studies, games, skits, songs, and outdoor activities. Your kids get a real camp experience without the overnight stay.

  • What about my preschooler or kindergartener?

Preschool and kindergarten kids (age 3+, potty-trained) have their own morning-only track, 9 AM to 11 AM Monday through Thursday and 9 AM to noon on Friday. Same great program, scaled to their age.

  • What should my kids bring?

Grades 1 –6 campers need a packed lunch and weather-appropriate clothing. Preschool/K kids just need to show up; morning snack is provided for everyone!
