Every summer, Camp Omega sends trained counselors to St. Peter's for a week of Bible lessons, games, skits, songs and time outdoors. It's a real camp week without the overnight stay, and it's free.
Our 2026 VBS Has Ended
Thank you to everyone who joined us July 20-24. For information about the next VBS, contact the church office at (507) 834-6676.

Nothing. Camp Omega provides the counselors and materials, and there is no charge to families.
No. Any child in the area is welcome, whether or not your family attends St. Peter's.
Counselors lead Bible lessons, games, skits, songs and outdoor time. The younger kids have a shorter morning schedule built for their age.
Kids age 3 through kindergarten (potty trained) come for the mornings: 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.
Kids in grades 1–6 need a packed lunch. Everyone should wear clothes for the weather, since part of each day is outside. A morning snack is provided.
Here's why VBS matters: for five days in a row, they'll hear God's Word and learn it alongside their friends.
Kids are going to hear God’s love for them from the Scriptures, and they're going to learn generous giving by supporting local missions. All of this is going to be wrapped up in fun, games, crafts, and songs.
Faith, community, and service. That's why VBS matters.
