A Growing Country Church for All Generations.
Rooted in Christ.
Overflowing with Young Families.
St. Peter’s is a historic congregation with a young heart. Located in the quiet of Moltke Township, just six miles north of Gibbon, we are a church for believers across the region.
In an era where many churches are shrinking, we are growing. Our members describe St. Peter's as a "generational" family where you can hear the true Word of God and worship side-by-side with people of all ages.
Whether you are driving out from Gibbon, or traveling in from Winthrop, Fairfax, Stewart, Hector, or Buffalo Lake, you will find a congregation that values the Divine Service, supports parents in raising their children, and welcomes the "holy noise" of little ones in the sanctuary.
We are located amidst the fields of Moltke Township, a short 6-mile drive north of Gibbon. Join us for the Divine Service this Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Meet the Pastor and Director of Christian Education called to teach the Word, care for souls, and serve the families of St. Peter’s.

Our church life doesn't stop on Sunday. From midweek Confirmation and choir rehearsals to Bible studies and youth group, there is usually something happening at St. Peter's. Check here for the latest service times and upcoming events.
St. Peter's isn't a business, and we don't treat members like customers. We are a family. "Getting involved" here simply means using your gifts to help the body function.
Whether that’s lending your voice to the choir, ringing in the handbell choir, teaching Sunday School, or welcoming neighbors at the door, we all serve one another inside these walls so we can care for our community across Sibley and Renville counties.
